FastSave
Download videos and pics from social media
Save social media photos and videos in a few taps
FastSave keeps things focused: it helps you capture photos and clips shared across popular networks and video sites. Beyond Instagram, it supports Twitter, Facebook, Dailymotion, and Vimeo, giving you a broad range of places to pull content from. You can also try to save media found on regular web pages, although detection there can be hit or miss and some items will not be recognized.
The interface is clean and beginner friendly. After a short walkthrough, you land in a built-in browser where you can search sites or use shortcut icons to jump straight to a platform. Open a post, tap the media, and start saving. It is important to note that FastSave does not plug into your existing social apps. You sign in within the app, just as you would in a standard browser tab.
Batch saving is a standout feature. You can grab multiple photos and videos at once, including entire albums, and even pick specific items from a gallery before downloading. Everything is stored locally, so your files are available in your device storage, and you can also browse them directly inside FastSave.
In use, the process is straightforward and downloads complete quickly, but there are trade-offs. Media on general websites is often not detected, which limits what you can pull outside of supported platforms. YouTube is not supported. Banner ads are present and can feel intrusive, especially during longer browsing sessions.
If you mainly want to archive content from the services it supports, FastSave is a practical tool with a simple workflow and handy multi-save options. Just be prepared to use it like a browser, accept that recognition on regular sites is inconsistent, and tolerate frequent ads.
