The savings system is structured and clear. Scan your loyalty card at checkout to unlock store Offers, which are time limited discounts tied to your selected location. For product specific savings, head to the Coupons section, activate the ones you want, then present your card at payment to have the reductions applied. There is even a bit of gamification through Scratch coupons. After qualifying purchases, you may receive a limited time scratch card in the app that reveals a bonus for certain product categories.

Coupon Plus adds another layer. Spend toward a monthly target and, when you reach it, a money off coupon drops into your Coupons tab. There is a catch, you get only seven days from issuance to redeem it, and your monthly total resets, so planning your larger shops can help you make the most of it.

Beyond discounts, Lidl Plus keeps you informed. Store leaflets and push notifications surface current promotions so you do not miss a deal. The interface is tidy and easy to navigate, which helps when you are skimming through dozens of offers before a shop.

There are drawbacks. Some users will encounter occasional crashes, and barcode scanning can be finicky at the register, which may require a second try. Availability is strongest in Romania and in other countries where the program operates, and features revolve entirely around participating Lidl stores.
