You can spin up a meeting on the spot or schedule ahead, and it ties in neatly with Outlook, Office 365, and Google services so events land on your calendar without fuss.

Beyond video and audio, the app supports chat, file sharing, and a reliable screen-share function, which makes presenting slides or walking through a document simple. It also plays well with tools many teams already use, including Microsoft Teams, Slack, Canvas, and Moodle. If you need to reach a wider audience, you can broadcast to Facebook Live. Sessions are recorded automatically, and those recordings are distributed to participants by email as MP4 files or collected in a recording list inside the app, which is great for people who could not attend.

Scale is a standout. Webex Meetings can accommodate up to 40,000 participants in a single call, a capacity that covers everything from company-wide briefings to large classes. Joining is flexible too. Guests can hop in from a web browser without creating an account, and there is a Call Me option that dials your phone if you prefer to be connected that way. Participants can tailor their on-screen layout for easier navigation, and hands-free control is available through Google Assistant, Google Home Hub, and Siri.

There are trade-offs. Some users will encounter audio or video interruptions, and there are occasions when recordings are not accessible, which can be frustrating when you are relying on them for catch-up. Even with those caveats, Webex Meetings delivers a strong set of features, broad integration support, and the capacity to host very large events, making it a solid choice for teams that need dependable, flexible meeting software.
